1. Who we are

Bonavi is a Swedish independent service that helps people understand the true cost of buying a home. This policy describes how we process personal information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Bonavi is designed to minimise data collection. The financial and housing information you enter — prices, fees, income, notes and saved properties — is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device.

We only receive personal data on our servers if you actively submit it, for example by joining a waiting list or contacting support. In that case we process your email address for the specific purpose you gave it to us.

3. Legal basis

We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) when you sign up for updates, and on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) to operate a secure, reliable service.

4. Storage and transfers

Data submitted to Bonavi is stored on servers located within the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU or EEA.

5. Retention

We keep contact details only as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and no longer than required by law. Local browser data stays on your device until you clear it.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
